For purposes of the Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013 (“POPIA”), Manpower SA is the Responsible Party in respect of the personal information it processes.
This Privacy Notice explains how we collect, use, share, store, and protect personal information in the course of our recruitment and business activities.

This Privacy Notice applies to:
- Job applicants and candidates
- Temporary, permanent, and contract associates placed with clients
- Individuals receiving career transition or training services
- Clients and client representatives
- Suppliers, vendors and service providers
- Users of Manpower SA websites, systems, and digital platforms
This policy applies to all employees, officers, contractors, and third-party service providers acting on our behalf.
3. Definitions
Unless otherwise defined in this policy, the following terms have the meanings assigned:
- “Personal Information” means information relating to an identifiable living natural person or existing juristic person.

Direct marketing is conducted in accordance with Section 69 of POPIA.

8. Lawful Basis for Processing
Manpower SA processes personal information on lawful bases, including:

Final recruitment and placement decisions always involve human oversight.

All operators are contractually required to safeguard personal information.

This is in accordance with Section 72 of POPIA.
